Just to see you smile

I seemed to have forgotten about this series of blogs that I have. But lately Jillian has really been on her toes and I couldn't help but find someway to blog about them:)

Jillian to HannahKate:
"Jesus knows how many hairs you have on your head, but I don't"

Conversation between Jillian and I:
Me: "Abey's (our compassion child) daddy lives in Heaven"
Jillian: "With Gamma's black and white dog?"
Me: "Yes, and one day we will all live in Heaven with Jesus"
Jillian: "I don't want to die and go to Heaven, I don't want those nails in my hands".

Talking to a friend about Gamma's dog momo (the one in Heaven):
Gabi (telling the friend about the dog): "Our dog momo died"
Jillian: "he died on the cross just like Jesus"

Tonight while playing a game on the computer, we were creating a home for a character and she picked the desert. On the picture she immediately said, "that's where Jesus lives. But then said "but he is not there anymore, and see in the sky, he is not there either, he is in our hearts" (she then broke into song:).

And every night during prayer time when we are doing our requests she always wants to pray for Easter. She always "Thank you for Easter Jesus". I think there is something to be said about a little girl who is so thankful for a God who never leaves us.

Needless to say, over the last 6mo or so we have been talking a lot about Jesus' love for us, Heaven and caring for others. Although I tend to think she has selective hearing, and I really would not put it past her, at least she is choosing the most important things to listen too:)

Paige you are awesome.

What a wonderful gift God gave Jillian when he gave her you for her mama.

I am sure Mark is right on with all those wonderful things he said about you.

Keep up the good work.
