A light at the end of the tunnel

I have been going to school for so long, I am actually beginning to enjoy it...eek. This is my first semester of solely education classes and it's nice. I enjoy going to class to learn about what I actually have an interest in, rather than statistics or philosophy. Since I graduated high school, I have attended 2 different universities, 2 different community colleges, I have earned 120 credit hours (after loosing 43 from my last transfer) and I am not done yet!

But I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. This past week we had our intern/student teaching placement interviews. We did an interview with each of the six elementary schools in our district. The individual schools had a pick at their choice for their interns and I was placed at Lamar Elementary. At the beginning of the 2009-2010 school year I will find out my two mentor teachers and the grades I will be working with.
I am so so excited for the next and last step towards finally finishing school. Only 14 months until graduation!

Congratulations on all of your hard work. I know it must be nice to finally see the end picture. Good luck next year at Lamar.
